Women’s Motorcycle Show 5 | 2020

The fifth annual Women’s Motorcycle Show took place on February 22nd, 2020 at the House of Machines in Los Angeles, California.

Our big year five celebration at the new location was a blast! We added quite a few things to the repertoire this year, including extended hours with the show starting at 3p and going on until midnight. During the daytime hours, families could get their kidlets in on the WMS experience.

At four we had Cam Elkins, creator of Stories of Bike, visiting aaalll the way from Australia, show short films featuring women motorcyclists including the “Faster” short featuring MotoLady.

Folks young and old zipped around the Hot Wheels ID race track, while Super73 offered demo rides on their fun little electric rippers out in the alleyway. The ladies of Real Deal Revolution offered welding and pinstriping demo lessons from 4-6 and 8-10, guests happily chowing down on food from the House of Machines and our classic supporting food truck- Burnt to a Crisp Texas BBQ.

Perhaps one of the most notable changes this year was the lack of Real Deal’s fearless leader- Jessi Combs. To somehow represent the hole we in the automotive and motorcycle industry all feel, we left one of the motorcycle stands empty… and encouraged people to leave Jessi a message. Her legacy lives on.
